Welcome to Reading Urology website The Consultant Urologists in Reading established Reading Urology in 2002 to combine their clinical expertise with the impressive facilities at The Berkshire Independent Hospital.
The Urology Unit has dedicated consulting rooms, a treatment room, reception area, secretarial offices and a specialist urology nurse. We offer apppointments during the working week and evenings and on Saturday mornings.
The Partnership is supported by the extensive range of medical and surgical services available at the hospital including three modern well-equipped operating theatres, a high dependency unit and a dedicated ‘continence physiotherapy’ service.Abseil the blade

to raise funds for the ‘Robbie’ the Robot Appeal at the Royal Berkshire Hospital
The robot is used by our consultants for complicated prostate operations for both private and NHS patients. It was bought with a large donation but the RBH Charity needs to raise £1 million over the next couple of years to keep it going.
We want to do our bit to help. You can find more about the robot and the appeal by clicking here.

Help us to reach our target of £1,000 by
- Looking at our website page on http://www.justgiving.com/juliaandjacquie-abseil-the-blade where you can make a donation and see how our appeal is going
- Calling the office on 0118 902 8097, 8094 or 8035 to make a credit or debit card donation
- Sending your cheque, made payable to Royal Berks Charity Robbie the Robot to us here so that we can pass it on
~ all donations gratefully received ~ Quality care As a team of specialists our Consultants believe that the best way to deliver quality is by moving from a single-handed approach towards multi-disciplinary care.
Reading Urology Partnership supports the strong belief that high quality Urological care should be delivered by a team of complementary specialists to ensure a high level of clinical governance.
With many years of clinical expertise between them, each consultant in the Partnership is an expert in their sub-specialist area and practises medicine to the highest standards.
Quality care at an affordable cost If you do not have medical insurance you may be able to be treated under the Fixed Cost Care Surgery scheme at the hospital which will give you an all-inclusive price for any treatment you may have to consider.
For more details please see Fixed Cost Care Surgery or use the Contact Us tab and email us your requirements so we can arrange to send you more information and a quote.
