TO FIND US BY CAR

From M4 junction 11
From the south, Basingstoke, and east, Maidenhead

Take the A33 dual carriageway towards Reading. Follow signs for Newbury A4, keeping in the left hand lane at all times. Take the left hand fork into Rose Kiln Lane at the lights just after the Peter Green furniture store on left hand side of the road.

At the next T-junction, turn left into Berkeley Avenue, and at the next set of lights, left into St Saviours Road.

Take the second right into Holybrook Road which leads into Wensley Road. Follow the road until you come to a mini-roundabout. Take the second exit.  The hospital and out-patients buildings are on your right.

From M4 junction 12
From the west, Newbury

Take the A4 into Reading. You will pass Prospect Park on your left and then The Elvian School on your right. At this point change to the right hand lane.

After the next mini-roundabout (Southcote Beefeater on right) go over the railway bridge and take the right hand turn at the traffic lights into Berkeley Avenue.

Go across the next set of lights and take the next right into Shaw Road. At the end turn right into Wensley Road. Follow the road until you come to a mini-roundabout. Take the the second exit.  The hospital and out-patients buildings are on your right.

From the north, Oxford and northeast, Henley

Both the A329 from Oxford and A4155 from Henley will bring you into Caversham. Follow the A329 through Caversham and across Caversham Bridge and the next roundabout travelling towards Reading town centre.

Turn right at the next roundabout, past the Fire Station on your right and under the railway bridge, through two sets of traffic lights and take the second exit slip up from the dual carriageway.

Take the second exit (right) from the roundabout to go up Castle Hill, A4155, towards Newbury. Keep in the left hand lane. Turn left at the next set of lights into Coley Avenue and left at the end into Berkeley Avenue.

Take the next right into Shaw Road. At the end turn right into Wensley Road. Follow the road until you come to a mini-roundabout. Take the the second exit.  The hospital and out-patients buildings are on your right.

You may find it easier to follow directions from one of the motorway junctions given above rather than travel through Reading town centre. A route via A340 and Pangbourne, south to the A4, will bring you to junction 12, M4, for example.

South from Henley on the A321 towards Twyford will take you to the A4 which can then be followed through Reading, past the Royal Berks Hospital, and onto us via Pell Street and Berkeley Avenue.
