Fixed Price Quotes
A Fixed Price Quote from the hospital at which you are going to be treated can be requested for any patient who has to fund their own treatment. You will be asked to pay directly to the hospital prior to your planned visit.
The quote covers
- the consultant’s and anaesthetist’s fees for the procedure(s)
- medical and nursing care
- operating fees, drugs, dressings
- hospital accommodation
- and usually, following in-patient treatment, the immediate post-op consultation
The quote does not cover
- outpatient tests
- any other consultations including those that take place prior to the operation
- personal expenses
The hospital may not be able to offer a fixed price quote to some patients, usually because of existing medical conditions. In this case they will offer a Pay-As-You-Go estimate.
